Email Accounts:

E-mail accounts can be set up to store e-mail for your site on the web server. These accounts can be established with address@domainname.com. Each e-mail account comes with its own private user-name and password selected by you.

Mail Forwarding:

Once your domain name is active worldwide, you can receive all e-mail addressed to your domain such as webmaster@yourname.com, sales@yourname.com, etc. By default, all e-mail addressed to your domain will forward to your real e-mail address provided by your local Internet provider. For convenience, specific mail forwarding options are available if you need specific addresses each to be forwarded to different addresses on the Internet. For example, e-mail addressed to webmaster@yourname.com could forward to an account at Troika Tek and sales@yourname.com could forward to a Prodigy account. Each of our plans include a specified number of e-mail forwarding/ aliasing accounts (see Plans and Prices), but additional forwarding/ aliasing accounts can be purchased for only $1.00 per month by contacting Sales.

POP Accounts:

In addition to mail forwarding, our customers have the option of retrieving e-mail online via webmail or directly from the mail server using any e-mail program such as Microsoft's Outlook or Netscape's Messenger. All Troika Tek’s UNIX Shared Web Hosting plans offer a specified number of configurable POP accounts (see Plans and Prices). All POP accounts can be assigned unique id's and passwords to enhance privacy. Customers can also purchase additional POPs if needed for just $4.00 per month each by contacting Sales.

Autoresponders:

Autoresponders reply to incoming e-mail automatically. An autoresponder could be used to send a standard text file to persons addressing info@yourname.com. If you've ever received a response to an e-mail that suggests that the recipient is away from the office, you may have received such an automated response.

Disk Storage Space:

Disk storage space refers to the amount of server disk storage specifically allocated to your account. This space is used to store your HTML files, graphics, audio clips, POP mail messages, pdfs, and other files that make up your web site. Each of our plans includes a specified allotment of disk storage space, but additional space can be purchased for any account in 10MB blocks at a cost of $10 per month, plus a one time $10.00 fee. Data Transfer (monthly bandwidth):

In general, any outward-bound traffic from a web site, with the exception of e-mail, is considered to be data
transfer. For example, each time a web page, image, midi file, QuickTime video, etc. is loaded, data transfer is generated. Each of our plans includes a generous amount of free data transfer which should be more than enough for most sites. In fact, most of our customers operate within their free data transfer allowance. Additional data transfer beyond the threshold will incur a small charge.

A dedicated SSL digital certificate will allow you and your customers to conduct Internet transactions referencing a secure URL at your own domain name: https://www.YOUR-DOMAIN.com. Adding SSL to your website lets your customers know their personal information is safe and transactions are secure. Utilization of a dedicated SSL certificate will allow you and your customers to conduct Internet transactions referencing a secure URL at your own domain name: https://www.YOUR-DOMAIN.com. Adding an SSL certificate to your website lets your customers know their personal information is safe and transactions are secure in two ways. First, an https prefix will display in their address bar to identify your site as protected. And secondly, a certificate will be issued to encrypt data transfers like credit card numbers, and to identify your website as matching information on file with the Certificate Authority. Web Traffic Analysis:

When surfing a website, a web server logs every click a user names as well as how much time was spent per web page. This information can be analyzed to provide extremely valuable information to our clients. We provide full analysis and interpretation of that analysis to aid in helping to adapt our customers’ websites.

Unique Visitors:

Troika Tek can tell how many different people are surfing our customers’ websites within a certain time period. A high level of activity may make it seem that a website is well received.  However, if that activity is only among a select few users, it is possible that the impact of the website is not as popular as could be thought by just examining total activity.

Visits:

Troika Tek monitors how many times each person who has visited the website comes back to the website and how much they spend at each page on average and how much time is spent at the website on average. We can also tell how many pages the average user views. 

Page Views:

Troika Tek monitors the popularity of each page on the website through page views, or how many times that page was looked at. A very popular page with very little content could signal to our customer that more time should be invested in that page because that is what most people are looking at. On the flip side, a page that is very well developed and very expensive to maintain that receives very little page views might need to be scaled back or possibly moved to a different section of the website.

Referrals:

Troika Tek can determine where the website users are coming from. We can determine if they being referred by search engines and what keywords they are using or if they are just typing in your domain name. We can determine which domain name is most popular. We can also determine which sites link to yours to provide you with users.

Other statistical analysis we perform include the following: path analysis (what path users take to navigate the website), most popular pages, least popular pages, which pages are used as entry pages, and which pages are used as exit pages (where the user starts and leaves the website).
